What is the genre of the script?

The genre of the script is a drama. The script relies on emotional development between realistic characters.

What are the elements that will appear in your script that follow forms and conventions of your selected genre?

Drama follows grounded and real situations which would be possible to happen in real life. My script follows this convention by creating this grounded situation between real characters. Drama is also made up of tension and parts that are made to connect with the audience. My script again follows this by creating this intense fight between these two characters but based on reasons on which the audience can understand and connect to.

How will you follow of subvert the genre to write an original screenplay?

The use of Drama as a genre in other screenplays and films always uses some sort of dramatic plot device to further push the story along naturally. I'm following this by creating this boxing match between these two characters to motivate the characters and advance the plot of the script.
